Process R-717 Ammonia Chillers

Packaged ammonia chillers are designed for major industrial processors. Size ranges from 150 tons of chilling and up with setpoint temperature from -40 deg F to 50 deg F.
Units feature automatic level controls, fully modulating compressors down to 10% of the rated BTU load, all welded carbon steel piping systems, and ammonia rated components.
Units typically are designed with wye delta or solid state motor starters as part of the package.
Packages are complete with microprocessor based control architecture to control compressor oil temperature and compressor staging automatically, and event log recording of alarm events.
Ammonia detection systems are typically provided for safe operation in plant environments.
Flooded with automatic surge drum level controls or direct expansion evaporators with thermostatic expansion valves and evaporative condensers (shipped loose for field installation) with self contained or indoor water delivery systems.
Factory start up and training is required on site after installation is complete for ammonia chilling systems.
Installation is available by TEMPEST for most areas.
